You, as a remote court reporter, depend on the actions of the production department. Before you can download the E-Transcript Reporter Edition software, the production department must send you an invitation to download E-Transcript Reporter Edition. If your court reporting firm uses turn-in sheets, the production department must make a turn-in sheet available to you.
Turn-in sheets are added through E-Transcript Manager by the production department. If the production department sets up a turn-in sheet before you install Reporter Edition, then Reporter Edition automatically retrieves the turn-in sheet as you install Reporter Edition.
Add a transcript to Reporter Edition. Note the Sheet button on the toolbar. If the Sheet button () is active (you click it and a turn-in sheet opens) after you add a transcript, you have a turn-in sheet.
If the production department did not make a turn-in sheet available, ask the appropriate person to add a turn-in sheet from within E-Transcript Manager's Mailbox (as described in E-Transcript Manager's online help). After you receive notification that the turn-in sheet has been added, then, on the Reporter Edition menu bar, click Tools and then click Receive. Reporter Edition requests your My RealLegal password, connects to the Mailbox, and downloads the turn-in sheet. You can then click the Sheet button to access the turn-in sheet. The same applies if you need an updated turn-in sheet: after the production department loads it in E-Transcript Manager Mailbox, click Tools and then click Receive.
