When an update to the Reporter Edition software is available, Reporter Edition detects the available update, and, when you send a transcript, asks if you want to install the update. If you click the Yes button, Reporter Edition shuts down and opens a Web page where you can download and install the software.
Alternatively, you can update the Reporter Edition software manually in the same way that you update the turn-in sheet: By downloading it from the production department's Mailbox. To do so: From the Reporter Edition menu bar, click Tools, click Receive and then type your password in the available field. Any available updates to the Reporter Edition software, as well as updated turn-in sheets, are downloaded.
