Use the following procedure to send attachments from Binder to DocumentDirector:
Note: Before this option will work, you must install TrialDirector and you must register the plugin (on the Binder menu, click Tools, click Advanced, click Register Plugins). For more information, click the following link: Registering Plugins.
At this time (September 2003), to successfully export an attachment from Binder and then open it in DocumentDirector, you must save the attachment in the folder where the Binder project resides, for example:
C:\Program Files\RealLegal Binder \Projects (your directory location may vary; always verify the path)
In RealLegal Binder, click All Annotations in the Project Tree.
In the Details pane, find a transcript annotation that has an attachment, right-click the annotation, and select Send Attachment to TrialDirector Suite.
If DocumentDirector is not open, it starts automatically and adds the attachment to the case.
