By default, when you click a page and line number combination in the word index, RealLegal Binder, using hyperlink behavior, opens that page and line number of the transcript in the Display pane.
However, you can configure RealLegal Binder's hyperlink behavior to generate a report anytime you click a page and line number combination in the word index. Generally speaking, a report is an excerpt from transcripts that shows where a specific word is, and it displays a few lines of text above and below the word; that is, it shows the word in context but not the complete transcript. You can then do things such as print the report or e-mail it to a coworker.
Use the following procedure:
Select Tools à Options from the menu bar. The Binder Options dialog box opens.
Click the Word Index tab.
Under Hyperlink Behavior, click the Left-click displays report option.
Click the OK button.
Now when you click a page and line number in the word index, RealLegal Binder generates a report.
