The Auto Mark feature allows you to annotate automatically specific words as they appear in a Realtime transcript. You can use Auto Marking in conjunction with quick marking. That is, you can press the Spacebar on the keyboard to highlight specific relevant phrases (quick marking), and you can set the Auto Mark feature to annotate automatically specific words.
Use the following procedure to auto mark text while viewing a Realtime transcript:
If you are in a Realtime session, press the Escape key on your keyboard to stop the transcript from scrolling.
Select Tools à Options. The Binder Options dialog box opens.
Click the Realtime tab.
Click the Enable auto marking check box.
Click the Auto mark options button. The Auto Mark Options dialog box opens and displays issues codes for the transcript and an area where you can type and add the words you want Realtime to mark automatically.
Select an Issue code for the auto mark.
Click in the Auto mark words field and type a word or phrase.
Click the Add button.
Repeat Steps 6 through 8 for each issue code and word or phrase that you want to quick mark.
Click the OK button to close the Auto Mark Options dialog box.
Click the OK button to close the Binder Options dialog box.
Press the Escape key on your keyboard to start the transcript scrolling. As the words you specified for auto marking appear, RealLegal Binder highlights them.
To quick mark a line as RealLegal Binder auto marks, press the Spacebar on your keyboard.
