New RealLegal Publisher Software Module Will Synchronize Transcripts to Digital Media
DENVER (February 4, 2004) - Aurora, CO-based RealLegal, LLC, which develops litigation and practice management
software for legal organizations, today announced the addition of RealLegal® MediaSync™ to RealLegal Publisher™ 2.5,
its discovery-bundling software. The RealLegal MediaSync module automatically synchronizes audio and video footage from
recorded depositions with corresponding transcripts. RealLegal MediaSync supports standard digital audio or visual formats.
RealLegal MediaSync automates the process to align individual lines of text in a transcript with the spoken word.
Previously, the tedious and time-consuming nature of this manual process spurred law firms to outsource the service.
Now legal professionals can use RealLegal MediaSync to automatically synchronize the content. This saves both time and
money and provides a streamlined method for compiling all elements of discovery.
RealLegal Publisher users can now synchronize directly from the same interface they already use to combine transcripts
and documents. The synchronization process requires no special training or equipment. RealLegal MediaSync users simply
input a few properties into a Wizard and then press a button. Synchronization is completed in mere minutes per hour of
digital footage.

The synchronized transcript-to-media files created by RealLegal MediaSync may be used on the Web by RealLegal iBinder 4.2,
which provides synchronized streaming media. RealLegal Binder 6.0 transcript and document management also supports
synchronized transcripts and their media files.
