CHICAGO (July 29, 2004) - In a joint statement, RealLegal®, LLC, of Denver, Colorado, and Summation® Legal Technologies, Inc., of San Francisco, California, announce a mutual integration among their respective flagship products in the litigation support marketplace, as well as their complementary court reporting offerings.
Upcoming versions of Summation iBlaze®will be able to directly import E-Transcript™ files, a proprietary RealLegal file format, in addition to other currently supported transcript formats. This capability will simplify transcript management for litigation teams leveraging Summation iBlaze and RealLegal Binder™.
Likewise, RealLegal Publisher™ users will be able to export transcripts, linked electronic exhibits and video synchronization files in the proprietary Summation Briefcase Format (SBF), in addition to the existing RealLegal Publisher Bundle™ format. This shared technology will help court reporting agencies provide optimum service regardless of the discovery management software their clients use. Such integration will streamline data transfer between court reporting agencies and their law firm clients.
The two companies have committed to tighten the integration between their respective software programs by evaluating ongoing integration opportunities and sharing development code accordingly.
