- One Size Fits All: Attorneys can import your Publisher Bundle into LiveNote®, Summation®, Sanction®, and other popular products. This new capability means that RealLegal Publisher is the ONLY tool you need. Publisher Bundle will work with all of the litigation support products commonly used by attorneys. This means fewer expenses, less overhead, happier clients and more profit!
Once your client receives your Publisher Bundle, they can use it as they always have, or they can select File | Save As and instantly make it compatible with whatever product they use. What is shown here is only a portion of the compatible products.
- New End User Interface: As soon as your client opens the Publisher Bundle they will see your Branded Cover Page (first image below) with your firm's logo (or any other graphic you provide), your firm name, your contact information and more! After viewing the Branded Cover Page, they will see the new interface and menus (as shown in second image below). This new appearance puts your work product front and center, and features familiar menu bars for your clients to use. As always, when your client clicks on one of the files listed, it opens in its own viewer. In addition, as stated above, your clients can import the Publisher Bundle into the lit support or trial presentation software product they use.
The "Media" column indicates whether or not the transcript is synchronized to video footage. The "OCR" column informs your client of which exhibits have Optical Character Recognition (OCR).
- More Sync Options for You: When your staff uses the MediaSync application that is embedded with every copy of RealLegal Publisher 3.0, they will find options for "Run Auto Sync" and "Run Manual Sync". The availability of both options enables your production staff to use the auto sync for most projects, yet utilize the manual sync tool for unusual depositions (like those involving a foreign language speaker and a translator).
To access the MediaSync options shown above, open your RealLegal Publisher 3.0 software, add a transcript to a bundle, and click the "MediaSync" button.
- Update Draft Transcripts: If you originally created a bundle using a draft version of a transcript, you can now update the draft with the final -- without having to create an entirely new bundle.
Simply select the bundle from the list shown in your software, and then click on "Transcript" from the top menu bar. Then click on "Update Draft (from file)". The Update Transcript Wizard will appear to help you browse to the final transcript.
