Law firms request a Publisher Bundle from their court reporting firm to simplify discovery
review without requiring any auxiliary software or complicated technology. Electronic
transcripts, documents and video are viewed side by side within no-fuss, high-performance viewers.
When the Publisher Bundle is opened, the recipient will have a single interface that lists
all of the RealLegal E-Transcript files and corresponding exhibits within the bundle. The
interface holds two panes, or sections, for transcripts and exhibits, respectively. Each
pane provides a variety of columns that can be sorted to simplify locating particular files.
The RealLegal E-Transcript Viewer or RealLegal Image Viewer are
automatically launched when a transcript or document file is selected. The Image
Viewer allows the end-user to zoom, flip orientation, and advance through multi-page
exhibits.
Reporters can create hyperlinks between where exhibits are introduced (or referenced) in the transcript
and the actual scanned document.
Every Publisher Bundle can be imported into attorneys' transcript and evidence management software.
And to further accelerate the receipt of electronic
transcripts and exhibits, law firms can request to receive both via their reporting firm’s
RealLegal iBinder online repository.
"Adding Publisher to the products and services we already offer creates a substantial revenue
source for our company. Once again, RealLegal sets the standard for innovative new products
that make us indispensable to our clients." ~Reesa Parker, MillerParker, Dallas
RealLegal Publisher is a pioneering solution that eliminates the incongruity of sending
paper-based exhibits along with electronic transcripts. Now, court reporters can provide a superior
service and augment their current offerings by bundling their RealLegal E-Transcript files
with corresponding digital exhibits. The finished product is a perfectly integrated
presentation of both elements within an interactive, self-executable viewing environment.
This technology is indicative of a tech-savvy court reporting firm!
The transcript and exhibit “import” process is guided by a user friendly Wizard that enables
court reporters to automatically establish connections between the exhibit files and where
each exhibit was introduced in the transcript.
Owners have the flexibility to choose the pricing model that fits their needs and those of
their clients. Some court reporting firms choose to outsource image scanning, and then
create the Publisher Bundle and save it to a compact disc using their CD burner. Other
firms already own and utilize image scanners and are seeking a product to create a truly
cohesive package.
What you need to know:
- RealLegal Publisher bundles can be created as often as needed with no additional fees
or limitations imposed by RealLegal.
- All that is required is a CD burner and RealLegal E-Transcript and RealLegal Publisher
licenses. Many clients also have an image scanner, but some choose to outsource this part
of production.
- RealLegal Publisher Bundles leverage investments court reporting firms have already
made in office equipment and RealLegal E-Transcript. Even if you choose to outsource image
capturing, you’ll profit on your Publisher Bundles.
- The convenience, utility and affordability inherent in RealLegal Publisher bundles will
lead to new clients, more depositions and a rapid return on your investment.
